Chocolate Covered St. Patrick’s Day Strawberries

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today we’re sharing a sweet cure for the mid-week blues! These St. Patrick’s Day-inspired strawberries are so easy to make and even easier to devour. Here’s how to make your own…

Chocolate Covered St. Patrick's Day Strawberries | Vicky Barone

Supplies: strawberries, candy melts in white and green (we used two shades of green!), Ziploc bags, scissors, a baking sheet, and wax paper.

Directions:
1. Start by washing and drying the strawberries thoroughly.
2. Microwave candy melts in separate bowls according to the directions on the package.
3. Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
4. Dip strawberries in the white candy melts and rest on the baking sheet.
5. Place baking sheet in the refrigerator while you prep the green candy melts.
6. Scoop green candy melts into Ziploc bags.
7. Cut a small corner of the Ziploc bags with scissors.
8. Remove baking sheet from fridge and squeeze green candy melts onto the strawberries in a zigzag pattern.
9. Return to fridge until the candy melts have hardened.

Chocolate Easter Gardens

Today we’re sharing some delicious “Easter Garden” desserts! They’re a spin on the classic “dirt cup” complete with yummy “carrots” and they’re just in time for some Spring celebrations.

Supplies: chocolate pudding, Oreos, strawberries, orange candy melts, and gummy worms.

Directions:
1. Make the chocolate pudding according to the directions on the package.
2. Put some Oreos in a plastic Ziploc bag and crush them to make the “dirt.”
3. Melt the orange candy melts in the microwave according to the directions on the package.
4. Dip the strawberries into the candy melts to coat them, then place them on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper to set.
5. Spoon alternating layers of pudding and cookie crumbs into a glass.
6. When the strawberries are set, place them into the dirt cups and add gummy worms.

Super Bowl Strawberries

Looking for a football-themed treat for your Super Bowl Party this weekend? These chocolate covered strawberries are easy to make and are sure to impress your party guests.

Chocolate Covered Super Bowl Football Strawberries | Vicky BaroneIngredients: Strawberries, milk or dark chocolate candy melts, white chocolate candy melts, and a Ziploc bag.

Directions:
1. Wash and dry strawberries.
2. Melt dark chocolate and dip strawberries.
3. Lay dipped strawberries on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper.
4. Melt white chocolate and spoon into a Ziploc bag.
5. Cut the tip of the Ziploc bag and squeeze the white chocolate onto the strawberries to create laces and stripes.
6. Move to the refrigerator to cool and harden.
7. Store in an air-tight container in the fridge until ready to serve.
