We are back with even more frosted glass tumblers! This is such a fun and easy DIY and the designs you can create are endless. For these tumblers, we used two different kinds of Martha Stewart Glass Paint (frosted and gloss) and overlapped them to create this pink and coral color block look. Here’s how you can make your own…
Supplies: glass tumblers, Martha Stewart Frost Glass Paint in Ballet Slipper, Martha Stewart Gloss Glass Paint in Red Coral, washi tape (or painter’s tape), a foam pouncer, and rubbing alcohol.

Directions:
1. Clean the tumblers with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel. Let dry.
2. Tape off a section of the tumbler for the first color. For this two-toned color block look, start with the lighter color first. You’ll want to tape off a section of the bottom of the glass so that the glass will look like it was “dipped” in paint at an angle.
3. Press out all of the air bubbles in the tape with your fingernail to create a clean paint line.
4. Dip the foam pouncer in the paint and begin painting the taped off section of glass using an up and down motion.
5. Let dry two hours, then apply a second coat to even out the paint.
6. Let dry overnight and then peel off the tape.
7. Repeat steps 2-6 with the darker color, taping off the opposite side of the glass so that the paint colors overlap in the middle.
8. Follow the directions on Martha Stewart’s craft website for how to set the paint (We air cure for 21 days, but you can also oven bake them).
They may be a little time consuming (so much waiting!), but we promise they are worth it.

Place them in a box with some pretty paper straws and a mini bottle of champagne for a hostess gift or even a little something to give your girlfriends when you ask them to be your bridesmaids! The possibilities are endless and everyone is sure to love this handmade gift.
UPDATE: Thank you all SO much for your interest in this super fun DIY! We are so sad to say that the Martha Stewart Frost Glass Paint has been discontinued. You can still find some colors here and here, but we also suggest trying out the “Gloss” paint or a “frosted glass” spray paint like this clear one or this teal one to achieve a similar effect.
