DIY Typography Easter Eggs

Easter is just three days away! If you’re still looking for creative ways to decorate eggs, we have the easiest DIY right here…

DIY Typography Easter Eggs | Vicky Barone

All you need to make these typographic eggs is a sheet of stickers! No messy dyes, no fancy tricks, just plain and simple black stickers.

Aren’t they adorable? Just boil some eggs, choose your favorite font, and stick away. The best part is, you can make them say whatever you like! We love the look of the modern black and white, but any sticker colors will do. And did we mention that these are non-toxic? No more worrying about the dyes seeping into the eggs, these stickers come right off with the shells and leave you with deliciously un-touched hard boiled eggs.

Easter Table Setting 2015

Stumped on how to decorate your table for Easter Brunch this Sunday? Here is a quick and easy Easter table setting that is sure to impress your guests. You may even have these elements in your home right now!

Easter Table Setting | Vicky BaroneDitch your outdated napkin rings and opt for a fresh place setting instead.  Fold a linen napkin into a triangle and place a freshly cut bloom in the middle. Wrap a piece of twine around the napkin and flower to hold them together.

Did the Easter Bunny bring you lots of jellybeans? Fight your sweet tooth and add them to a votive for a colorful tea light setting.

Bright, round place mats add a pop of color to the table and make white plates and napkins stand out. Bonus points if they match one of the jellybean colors!

Make a table runner with fresh flowers, or collect some faux-greenery from your local craft store (that can be used again!).

That’s all! Simple and colorful touches you can easily add to your Easter table this weekend. How will you celebrate?

DIY Bunny Garland

We can’t pass up a colorful garland no matter the holiday! This DIY Bunny Garland is no exception. All you need is some scrapbook paper and mini white pom poms to create these sweet little bunnies. For most of our garlands, we like to keep twine and mini clothes pins on hand. It’s so easy to swap out garlands depending on the season and store the ones not in use. Keep reading to learn how to make your own!

DIY Bunny Garland | Vicky BaroneSupplies: kraft paper, scrapbook paper in pastel colors, scissors, pom poms, glue, twine, and mini clothespins.

Directions:
1. Using a paper cutter or scissors, cut rectangles out of the brown kraft paper.
2. Cut a triangle out of the bottom of each rectangle with scissors.
3. Draw a bunny shape onto a piece of kraft paper and cut it out. This will be your stencil.
4. Use the bunny stencil to trace the shape onto the pastel scrapbook paper and cut.
5. Glue the bunny shapes to the kraft paper flags and glue a pom pom to each bunny for the tail.
6. When the glue is dry, clip each flag to the twine using the mini clothes pins and hang your garland.
