Personalized Holiday Ornaments

We know Autumn only just began, but we are so excited to announce that personalized holiday ornaments are back! These were such a big hit last year, we figured it was never too early to make them available this holiday season. The eight pictured above are brand new offerings to the Etsy shop and feature the holiday year 2014 on the reverse of each ornament. Three of them (the Nutcracker, the scottie dog, and the beaver) were featured last season exclusively at The Land of Nod!

There are an additional 22 designs in the ornament section as well, bringing the grand total to 30 ornaments! We are so happy to offer such a wide range of original Vicky Barone designs and we hope you absolutely love them.

Find all 30 personalized ornaments here. And don’t forget to like Vicky Barone on Facebook, follow on Instagram, and subscribe to the blog via email in the right sidebar to keep up with more holiday items as well as sales!

P.S. Only 76 days until Christmas! 😉

Simple Christmas Table Setting

Here are a few shots of our dining room table all ready for Christmas dinner! It may be a little early, but having the table set in advance not only helps eliminate last minute preparations, but it is also a nice way to get into the holiday spirit. We don’t use our dining room table every day anyway, so why not dress it up with the rest of the house?

Simple Christmas Table SettingThe table runner and metallic place mats are from Pier 1 Imports, the red chargers are from the dollar store, and the reindeer is from Pottery Barn. We used a felt mistletoe garland from Target as a decorative table runner and red ribbon to tie the silverware.

M&M Pretzel Kisses

These M&M pretzel kisses are our favorite treat to make during the holidays. This year we wrapped them up in cellophane treat bags with gold twist ties to give to our neighbors and friends! You might want to double the amount you plan on making because it’s difficult not to snack on them as you go!

M&M Pretzel Kisses

Ingredients: Pretzel Snaps (make sure you don’t get the butter flavored ones!), Hershey Kisses and Hugs, and red and green M&Ms.

As you can see, we ate the batch with red and green M&Ms before we took a picture of them all wrapped up. Oops!

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 200.
2. Arrange pretzels on a cookie sheet and place Kisses and Hugs on top.
3. Bake at 200 for 5 minutes.
4. Remove from oven and carefully push one M&M into each Kiss.
5. Place tray in refrigerator or freezer to set about 5-10 minutes.
6. Store in an airtight container or wrap in individual bags for gift giving!

Enjoy!
