Are you planting a garden this year? We have an elevated garden in the backyard that the kids love to help with. If you have little helpers, they will love making these garden markers too! All you need are some paint sticks, paint, and stickers!
Supplies: paint stirrers from a hardware store, white acrylic paint, a paint brush, black letter stickers, and clear acrylic sealant spray.
Directions:
1. Paint the sticks white using the acrylic paint and a paint brush. You may need two coats. Make it even easier and use spray paint!
2. When the paint is completely dry, add the stickers.
3. Spray the finished garden markers with the acrylic sealant and let dry.
4. Add to your garden!
Have fun with the paint colors! Our original idea was to paint over top of the stickers with colorful paint and then remove them to reveal the plant name in white, but we loved the crisp black and white look so much we kept it!
